Wattco Equipment, Inc. began in 1993 representing Whelen Engineering Company and HAVIS (formerly Havis Shields) in Northern California and Northern Nevada. Here I am, thirty-one (31) years later, announcing Wattco’s decision to ‘retire’ from being a Manufacturer’s Representative. Beginning January 1^st, 2025, Wattco’s core business mission will focus on the distribution of key manufacturer’s products for public safety vehicles, highlighting Panorama Antennas, but inclusive of Whelen, HAVIS, Setina, Kussmaul, AFS (All Fleet Solutions), and MagMic. Wattco shall remain California and Nevada focused. Our Goal is to continue working with each of you to supply Panorama Antennas, as well as the vehicle equipment you’ve come to know from Wattco.

Throughout these 31 years, I have been blessed with great manufacturer partners and employees which have made it possible for Wattco and myself to provide a quality sales and service relationship with our clients. The transition of Wattco from a manufacturer’s representative group into a distributor/reseller/vehicle upfitter means that our staffing and personnel will be changing. To this extent, I’m happy to present a newly formed, but highly seasoned Manufacturer’s Representative group, Pacific Coast Fleet Equipment, comprised of Carlos Alcaraz, Brent Burzycki, and Vic Geis. Many of you have worked with these three, as their combined service years totals fifty-six (56yrs) with Wattco. They’ll be there to continue the quality sales and service experience!

I could not be more excited for what’s to come for myself and Wattco beginning January 1, 2025! Wattco’s facility in Fairfield, CA stays in place and remains consistent with our sales and service mission. Our Southern California office (Alhambra, CA) will no longer be in service. All sales and service remain the same for Wattco.
