EMPLOYMENT POSITION: Inside Sales Representative – Northern California

Wattco Equipment Inc. is an independent manufacturer’s representative organization providing professional sales and service specializing in municipal, utility, and public safety vehicle outfitting and integration. We represent the highest quality emergency equipment companies in the Nation. We are looking for an Inside Sales representative who will also take pride in representing equipment that keeps our customers, first responders, and utility workers safe.

EMPLOYMENT POSITION: Inside Sales Representative – Northern California

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative acts as a critical liaison between Wattco’s sales team and clients, providing information and facilitates the sales interaction(s) between the outside Territory Managers, our clients, and our manufacturers, as well as prospecting for new business. The Inside Sales Representative-Northern California shall provide support to the Territory Managers covering their designated counties and accounts in Northern California and Northern Nevada.

Salary & Benefits: Non-exempt full-time position paying $26.00 -$29.00 per hour, with commission and bonus potential. Employer sponsored health and dental benefit plan; 100% monthly premium covered by employer.

• None

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Acts as liaison to coordinate information and service between the end user of a product, distributors, manufacturers, and the Territory Managers.
• Support duties include providing customer support on incoming calls, making outbound prospecting calls, processing customer orders, providing customer estimates, and managing client requests.
• Tracks the delivery and installation of products.
• Provides support to Wattco’s Installation Shop to ensure productive vehicle equipment upfitting during the installation process. Remaining in regular contact with customers regarding the progress of their job(s).
• Answers inquiries and questions from customers related to ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, operations, and other related information.
• Interaction with manufacturers and vendors, for vehicle specific products and component application knowledge.
• Data entry to keep CRM software up to date.

Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installer- Police, Fire and Public Works

Hiring for the following location: Wattco Equipment Shop, Fairfield, CA 94534

Salary: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour
Job Type: Full Time, Regular Hours 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday

GENERAL DUTIES: Build Police, Fire and Public Works Vehicles – Installation of all vehicle equipment, radios, lighting equipment as needed. Custom fabrication. The individual shall be capable of working without direct supervision. Skills must include motor vehicle driving, computer proficiency, job tracking, time management and accounting of time. Position will install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot, 12V Automotive Electrical Systems and emergency warning equipment. Position will be called upon to meet Wattco’s goal of industry’s highest quality installation services.

• Works well with others or independently.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to climb over, into and under vehicles several times per day.
• Occasional working at heights above 10 ft.
• Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.

Employee Tools:
• Employees should possess hand tools to perform the above tasks, some shop tools are available for use.
• Specialty tools will be discussed with management and be provided if warranted.
